Near the corner with Carey’s Lane just up from the Kings cinema this was one of two pubs in Old Market named the Bunch of Grapes. This picture was taken in 1909 and the building had changed little when it was pulled down in the sixties for the new road scheme.

The interior of the Bunch of Grapes probably taken at the same time as the main picture in 1909. Not to be confused with the Three Horse Shoes across the road, which is now known as the Long Bar. Barry Graham informs us that the two gents behind the bar in this picture are Henry (Harry) Burt and Henry Burt jnr.
